LONDON, UK – Thomas Miller has announced the launch of its standalone MGA business, Navata.  

Originating from Thomas Miller Specialty Offshore, a business established by Thomas Miller in 2016, Navata underwrites a wide range of Renewable Energy, Power, Upstream Oil & Gas and Offshore Marine risks. All of our insurance products are backed by S&P A+ and AA- rated capacity.

Navata has 31 employees, including 13 highly experienced underwriters and is led by CEO Bernt Hellman, who was instrumental in establishing the TMS Offshore business. It is majority owned by the Thomas Miller Group and will operate on a standalone basis alongside the Group’s other activities.

The new Navata brand and website (www.navata-global.com) was launched today.  

The renaming to Navata is subject to regulatory approval in Germany, Canada and Singapore.
